This Ultra2/Ultra3 LVD/SE external VHDCI (Very High-Density Cable Interconnect) cable features 28 AWG double-shielded twisted-pair cabling, ferrites, and 0.8mm 68-pin molded connectors to reduce EMI/RFI interference. Designed to meet or exceed SCSI specifications, this cable is primarily used to connect advanced SCSI multiport applications to RAID controllers.
The small footprint allows up to four channels to be connected on a single card. Twisted pair conductors ensure that each data line is paired with a ground line to minimize interference, while braid and foil shielding reduces EMI/RFI interference for error-free data transfer.
