GO ELECTRONIC RCC1000 FAQs
The RCC1000 will not operate the camera(s) using RS422 for control?
Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions:
- Make sure the camera(s) is set to RS422. Review your specific camera manual for instructions on how to change this setting.
- If your system consists multiple cameras, make sure Camera 1 is installed and operating properly before installing camera two and so on. In other words, install/connect one camera at a time.
- Verify that you have correctly wired the cameras. See the RCC1000 manual for a wiring diagram.
- Verify that the camera(s) baud rate is correct (9600 bps). Review your specific camera manual for instructions on changing the baud rate.
When controlling multiple cameras, how you do set the Camera IDs on the RCC1000?
You do not need to set the Camera IDs. The RCC1000 will do this automatically. When the system is powered on, the cameras will be assigned an ID based on the order they are installed in the daisy-chain configuration.
Can this controller SIMULTANEOUSLY pan and zoom cameras? The Sony controller can do so, but I am noticing some other can not. They will pan, tilt or zoom but not at the same time.
Yes the RCC1000 will simultaneously pan, tilt, AND zoom. So you can do any combination (two or three) of these control functions simultaneously.
