The CoolSign Player is an ultra-compact computer platform designed for the challenges of digital signage. The system is
configured with a standard or embedded Microsoft Windows OS, the CoolSign player software, and all the necessary drivers,
codecs, and other software elements. The CoolSign Player Access License is also included.
Haivision’s integrators and clients benefit from the consistent
quality and deterministic performance of the CoolSign Player.
Haivision’s quality assurance team validates every CoolSign
release to assure the platform’s performance and consistent
behavior as CoolSign updates and upgrades are introduced.
Haivision’s production team not only identifies the platform as the
most cost effective, given the performance required, but also takes
great measures to assure its longevity and its ability adapt to the
progress of technology.
The CoolSign Player is initially available as 2 models. The CoolSign Player – Basic, achieves the required performance for
most single screen local playout challenges – multiple dynamic regions, local 1080p60 HD video playback, multiple
DataWatcher feeds, etc. The CoolSign Player – Streaming, is designed to tackle the challenge of displaying live HD H.264
streams as part of the content mix that might originate from Haivision’s popular Makito HD encoder or managed by Haivision’s
Furnace IP video distribution system. The CoolSign Player – Streaming is certified with every release of CoolSign Server
software and Makito firmware.
