LINK ELECTRONICS 1162-1027

The LINK 1162 digital to analog converter provides an accurate means of converting component serial digital (SMPTE 259M) video to component analog YUV video. In addition, the 1162 provides composite video output.

The 1162 takes advantage of the latest integrated circuit technology to offer outstanding performance. All parallel digital processing features 10-bit resolution. Post-filtering to full CCIR-601 specifications is handled by three highperformance hybrid analog filters. The digital front-end features automatic gain and equalization with outstanding return loss performance. Both 525/60 and 625/50 standards are supported, switch selectable. Front panel and rear panel LEDs indicate input presence.

The DigiFlex 1162 is designed to reside in LINK's 1000-Series frame. This frame can house up to 11 modules of various types. For stand-alone applications, LINK digital video products may be mounted in a tough extruded aluminum chassis: the 7200-Series unit. The 7200-Series "singlemodule frame" features a modular power supply and rear-panel input/output BNC interface.
