The LINK 1178 monitoring DA takes advantage of the latest technology to provide high-performance digital distribution and monitoring. The digital input is non-looping and offers excellent return loss. The digital outputs are equalized and reclocked with 10 Bit processing. Error-free transmission is provided for input cable lengths up to 500ft. Serial digital input is confirmed by a signal presence LED. Four composite analog outputs are available for analog video monitoring purposes. In addition, internal jumpers allow for the selection of S-Video (Y/C) outputs. Analog outputs are 8 Bit processing. Analog output level is adjustable from the front of the card.Three switches on the front panel select Modulated Ramp, Set-up On/Off and NTSC/PAL. The DigiFlex 1178 is designed to reside in LINK's 1000-Series frame. The 1000 frame can house up to 11 modules of various types with a single power supply. A redundant power supply is available for dual power supply operation. When two redundant power supplies are used, the frame will hold ten modules. A second power input connector with AC cord is a part of the dual power supply for a true redundant operation.
