LINK ELECTRONICS HAC-66
The HAC-66 is a stand alone unit that will convert Standard Definition (SD) or High Definition (HD) Serial Digital Interface (SDI) to High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI). This allows the user to monitor the SDI stream without using expensive SDI monitors. The HDMI output also allows the user to here the audio embedded in the SDI stream.
The HAC-66 will take SDI embedded audio and convert it to the HDMI output. It also has two RCA audio connectors that can be converted to the HDMI output, instead of SDI embedded audio. The unit has a built in SDI equalizer that will work for 500 ft of cable with SD and 250 ft of cable for HD.
The HAC-66 is a small rugged unit that has an external wall mounted 12V DC power supply. It has a power switch allowing you to turn off the unit without unplugging the unit. It also has a power LED so you can see at a glance if the unit is on.
