LINK ELECTRONICS PCD-88X6
The PCD-88x6 is a high performance closed caption decoder for the NTSC video system. Six decoders are housed in one standard one RU housing. It is capable of processing and displaying line 21 closed captions for field one CC1 & CC2. An automatic caption "Time-Out" function will erase displayed captions after 15 seconds if no new data is received.
This unit can easily be mounted in a standard EIA equipment rack. A remote control panel is available to control up to six PCD-88X6 units.
The PCD-88X6 is designed with the professional user in mind. The required input signal is composite video with caption data on line 21 of field one. There are two 75O BNC composite video outputs for each decoder section. The input is self terminating into 75O AC coupled, to work in all environments.
RThree internal controls for each decoder section provide for adjustment of composite video level, background level and character intensity.
