This USB 2.0 S-Video Capture Cable lets you connect devices that output S-Video or Composite video to a computer, through an available USB 2.0 port. Plus, the cable features two channel RCA stereo audio inputs, that let you capture the audio that accompanies the S-Video or Composite video signal.

Is the STARTECH SVID2USB2 compatible with a Mac?
No. This device only works with PC systems (not Mac). The GRASS VALLEY ADVC55 Compact Analog/Digital Video Converter works with PC and Mac. However, it utilizes a firewire computer connection, not USB.
