High Definition Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera Control System based on the Sony BRC-Z700.

The Vaddio WallVIEW CCU Z700 is built around theSony® BRC-Z700 high definition pan/tilt/zoom camera.With three CMOS mega-pixel sensors and a 20x opticalzoom lens, the WallVIEW CCU Z700 is an ideal choicefor a wide range of high definition video applications.WallVIEW CCU Z700 allows the user to adjust color, gainand iris functions on the camera (see Figure 1). Thesecontrols allow the camera to deliver a more accuraterepresentation of the image that is being captured. Theother added advantages include the ability to color matchmultiple cameras and eliminate the need to use automaticexposure and color settings. User-defined adjustmentsmay be stored using two Scene buttons.

The WallVIEW CCU Z700 uses high speed differentialsignaling (HSDS), an active video transmission system, todeliver high quality HD and SD video over standard Cat. 5cabling. Adjustments allow the video to be extended upto 500 feet from the Quick-Connect CCU with virtually noloss in video quality.

Overall, the WallVIEW CCU Z700 is superb for a wide range of high definition shooting applications. It is alsohighly suitable for applications where adjusting the color and brightness levels of one or multiple cameras iscritical, such as houses of worship, corporate boardrooms, live event production and distance-learningapplications.
