USB Capture SDI Plus captures SD /HD /3G-A /3G-B/2K SDI signals from a wide range of devices including high definition cameras (professional /surveillance /video conference), video switchers and so on. The maximum input resolution and frame rate is 2048x1080. The USB Capture SDI Plus can deliver the captured video to a computer at up to 2048x1080.
The USB Capture SDI Plus has an SDI input interface as well as a an SDI loop through interface, which allows for monitoring the image while streaming and/or recording. This loop-through feature is not available on the original USB SDI dongle. Additionally, the new USB Capture SDI Plus has new audio input and output functions. A 3.5mm audio interface allows for capture of analog audio from a separate audio device (not embedded in the SDI input). This eliminates the need for an additional audio capture device. The 3.5mm headphones interface allows for playback of audio (either extracted from the embedded SDI audio or from the analog audio input).
The USB capture devices can be used in a number of industries, including sporting and live events broadcasting and recording, video conferencing, medical imaging, and surveillance. You can use it to capture a video output device or the desktop of the streaming computer.
Video Processing by Hardware - The USB Capture Plus Family video processing functions include up/down conversion, frame rate control, brightness/saturation/contrast/hue adjustment, de-interlacing. The device has powerful FPGAs to process video before transferring data to the computer, causing 0 CPU usage.
USB Capture Utility Software - A software is included with the device to enable advanced functions and more control over the device, such as resolution and frame rate setting, color space conversion, vertical flip and mirror, extraction of HDMI information, EDID, cropping and more.
Better Audio - The USB Capture Family adopts ASRC (Asynchronous Sample Rate Converter) technology, which is used in professional USB sound cards.
The USB Capture Plus Family is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
The device is compatible with most popular professional third party software for streaming, recording, video conferencing, video stitching, VJ, etc. Check the compatible software.
The device uses a USB 3.0 interface. It also supports a USB 2.0 port. However, it's important to note that if a USB 2.0 port is used, the real-time frame rate will be reduced due to limited bandwidth. Users can also use a USB 3.0-to-Type C cable to connect it via USB Type C interface on the computer. Additionally, no external power is needed; the unit is powered via the USB connection.
