RS-232 to Cat5 adapter to connect Sony EVI and BRC cameras to controller via Cat5 or Cat6 network cabling.

  • Tx (camera side) connects to RS-232 VISCA 8 pin Mini-Din port on camera and converts to an RJ-45 Cat5/Cat6 style jack so network cabling can be run to carry control signal
  • Rx (controller side):
    - RS232-CAT5-EVI-MINIDIN has another 8 pin plug to connect to SONY RMBR300 controller.
    - RS232-CAT5-EVI-DSUB9 has a D-Sub 9 serial connector to connect to GO ELECTRONIC RCC6000 / RCC4000 / RCC1000 controller.

    Adds S-video to the RS-232 to Cat5 adapter to carry video over network cable.

  • Tx (camera side) connects to RS-232 VISCA 8 pin Mini-Din port and S-Video output on camera and converts both to an RJ-45 Cat5/Cat6 style jack so network cabling can be run to carry both video and control signals
  • Rx (controller side) has another 8 pin plug to connect to controller and an S-Video jack so that you can connect an S-Video cable to your video destination.
